The person I'd like to talk about is my friend Monica who is a cooking enthusiast,being crazy about making appealing meals. She is a tender girl with brown short hair,shining eyes and fair skin. The first time I saw her was at the cooking class. She was outstanding in the class owing to her delicate countenance and wonderful performance.So I always humbly seeked advice from her whenever I had questions about cooking.And we became friends soon because of the same hobby and interest.

In spare time, she is always fond of “working” in the kitchen. She is good at making dessert,such as tiramisu, cookies and the like. The delicacies she cook make me mouth-watering, so I throw myself at her feet with every bite I take. Deeply attracted by the delicacies, I often come to her place without being invited. And in return, I often make pasta for her, which is my speciality dish, and she is full of praise for it. So, we exchange recipes with each other whenever we are free.

Actually,she told me she couldn't cook at all several years ago. But then, in order to improve the quality of her life, she was determined to take cooking courses. As soon as she had time, she would practice cooking in the kitchen. From then on, she has been dead keen on cooking and her cooking skill has been improved significantly. I think it is her obsession and persistence that make herseIf master of cooking. Now, she can cook as excellently as the top chefs do. That might be the reason I highly regard her as a cooking enthusiast.

我要说的这个人是我的朋友莫妮卡，她是一位烹饪达人，热衷于做诱人的美食。她是一个温柔的女孩子，留着棕色的短发，有一双闪亮的眼睛，还有白皙的皮肤。第一次见到她是在烹饪班，她精致的面容，以及出色的表现，让她在班上非常耀眼。每当我在烹饪方面有疑问时，总是会虚心地向她请教。我和她有着相同的爱好和兴趣，所以不久之后，我们便成为了朋友。

闲暇时，她总是喜欢在厨房“忙来忙去”。她擅长做意大利甜点，例如提拉米苏，冰淇淋，曲奇饼干等等。她做的美食让人垂涎欲滴，每吃一口，便会拜倒在她的石榴裙下。美食深深地吸引着我，因此我常常会不请自来。当然，作为回报，我会给她做我的拿手菜-意大利面，这道美食也令她赞不绝口。所以，只要一有空，我们就会切磋厨艺。

事实上，她告诉我，几年前，她完全不会烹饪。但是后来，为了提高生活品质，她决定报班学习厨艺。只要她一有时间，她就会在厨房练习烹饪。自此以后，她就酷爱烹饪，而且厨艺大增。我认为正是她的痴迷和坚持使她精通厨艺。现在她可以像顶级厨师那样烹饪完美佳肴。这也许就是我高度认为她是一个烹饪达人的原因吧。
