The pie charts display the percentage of water used for different purposes（industrial use,agricultural use and domestic use）in six areas where North America，South America，Europe，Africa，Central Asia and South Asia were shown in the world.

In North America，the industrial use with 48% and the agricultural use held 87%，while the domestic use have the smallest percentage with only 13%. Beside，the percentage of the agricultural use is 42% more than that of the domestic use leaving 19% and the industrial use at 10% in South America. Moreover，the industrial use in Europe ranks the first position at 53%，followed the agricultural use with 32% by the time when only 15% for the domestic use is witnessed.

In the rest of three areas（Africa，Central Asia and South Asia ），the great percentage is almost the same，which accounts for 84%，88% and 81% respectively. However，the purposes are extremely small， whose percentage occupies 7% in both Central Asia. Furthermore，it is noticeable that 5% is for the in industrial use in Central Asia and 12% is revealed in South East Asia.

To sum up，the agricultural use seize the largest percentage in the world except North America and Europe，but the domestic use is the smallest in six areas of the world.
