Describe something that can make you laugh.
You should say:
what it is
what influence it has on you
how you feel about it
and explain why it makes you laugh.
Chaplin's films can always make me laugh. Charles Chaplin was a British-born actor, director, and producer who gained fame for his role as a tramp in baggy trousers and a bowler hat. His productions include The Kid, The Gold Rush, and City Lights. Charles Chaplin was given a special Oscar for writing, acting, directing and producing.
Most Chaplin's films are humorous. Because his films are silent, the actors have to use exaggerated gestures to reach a humorous effect. Later he added musical sound tracks to some films, which enhanced the humorous effect of the films. Chaplin merged physical grace, disrespect for authority, and sentimentality into the characters of his films. In appearance, he usually wore a gentleman's derby, cane, and neatly kept moustache with baggy trousers and oversized shoes. He affected a unique, bow-legged dance-walk. Even his appearance will make people laugh let alone the acting of the characters.
