Describe one of your holidays.

You should say:

when it was

whom you went with

what you did

and explain why it made a deep impression on you.

 

范文：

 

I will describe my latest holiday I had during the past National Day. All Chinese will have a whole weeks holiday to enjoy themselves. I went to Yellow Mountain. Situated in southeastern China, Mt.Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) is famous for the uniquely shaped pines, the fantastic rock peaks, the sea of clouds and the hot springs. Mt.Huangshan is a magical mountain, covering many other famous mountains' features; perhaps its most outstanding feature is the constantly changing sceneries. The mystic clouds drift in and out, changing the scenery from minute to minute as the mist rises and ebbs; the beauty of Huangshan also varies with the seasons.

 

People later concluded: "No mountains are worth seeing after a trip to the Five Sacred Mountains, and none of the Sacred Mountains are worth seeing after a trip to Huangshan." No wonder it is the only mountain that is listed in China's Top Ten Scenic Spots and designated as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. As a matter of fact, just like the Yangtze River, the Great Wall and the Yellow River, Mt.Huangshan has become a symbol of China.

 

I can never forget this trip to Huangshan because I did enjoy the natural beauty of it!

 

我将描述一下我刚刚度过的国庆节。所有中国员工都可以享受一个星期的假日,当时我去的是坐落于中国东南部的黄山旅游。黄山以奇松、怪石、云海、温泉而名扬四海,它是一座神奇的山,兼具许多著名山峰的特点,它最突出的特点当数其千变万化的景色。随着神奇的云彩忽隐忽现,云雾的蒸腾翻滚,每时每刻的景致都在变幻。黄山的美还在于它随着季节的变化而变化。

 

所以人们得出一个结论:五岳归来不看山,黄山归来不看岳。难怪只有黄山被列入中国十大风景旅游景点,并被记入了世界文化与自然遗产名录。事实上,就像长江、长城和黄河一样,黄山也是中国的象征。

 

我的确领略到了大自然的美,所以黄山之旅我将永生难忘!
