Describe a handicraft.

and explain how you made it.

范文：

The handicraft I'd like to talk about is kite. Kite is a traditional handicraft as well as a toy in China. It has a history of over one thousand years. Every year in spring you can see many kites with various sizes and shapes flying in the sky. Now I want to describe the process of making a kite.

The first step is to find some bamboo twigs. Make sure that they are pliable and not easy to be broken. Then you can make them into the shape you want, like birds, butterflies,dragons or even bats. The next step is to stick paper or silk to the frame. You can paint it with various colors to make it look nice. Then the frame of the kite is finished. Don't forget to add a tail to the kite in order to keep balance. The last step is to tie the string to the kite. The string should be tough enough or your effort will be gone with the wind.

After making the kite you can fly it in the sky. Go to a spacious square or a field, and it is so relaxing. I have made a kite by myself. I made it with my father's guidance when I was in the junior high school. I like it very much and I hang it on the wall of my bedroom.

我要说的手工艺品是风筝。在中国,风等是一种传统的手工艺品,也是一种玩具。它已经有1000年多的历史了。每年春天你都会看到天上飞着各式各样的大小不一的风筝。现在我要先介绍一下风筝的制作过程。

第一步是要找一些小竹条,确保它们容易弯曲而且不容易折。然后把它们编成你想要的形状,比如鸟、蝴蝶、龙或者〰。下一步就是把纸或绘纲贴到骨架上。为了使它好看,你可以在上面涂上各种颜色。这样风筝的骨架就制作完成了。别忘了给风筝加上尾巴,用来保持平衡。最后一步就是给风筝绑线,线必须足够结实,否则你的努力就付诸东流了。

风筝制作完成后,你就可以把它放飞到天上了。找一片宽敞的地方,这会令人放松。我有个自己做的风筝,那是我上初中的时候,在我父亲的指导下完成的。我非常喜欢,就把它挂在了我的卧室里。
