1、Who is the famous person you would like to meet the most?

你最想见的名人是谁?

 

I'm longing to meet Yao Ming and get his signature. I'm crazy about basketball, you know,and Yao Ming is my hero, for he was the only Chinese in NBA who proved to be a player with great expectations.

我最想见的是姚明,而且渴望得到他的签名。我对篮球很着迷,你知道,姚明是我的英雄,因为他曾是在NBA的唯一一个中国人,他证明了自己是一个备受期待的运动员。

 

2、Why do you think so many people dream to be famous?

你认为为什么这么多人梦想成名?

 

Being famous is a sense of achievement. It's an irresistible satisfaction to be loved, even adored by so many people.

成名是一种成就感,是一种被很多人热爱甚至崇拜的无法抑制的满足感。

 

3、What are the advantages and disadvantages of being famous?

成名的好处和坏处是什么?

 

Fame means public attention and, in most cases, wealth. But it also means a sacrifice of private life. That's the trouble any famous person has to face.

名声意味着被众人关注,在绝大多数情况下还意味着财富。但是同样也意味着对私生活的一种辆牲。这是很多名人不得不面对的烦恼。

 

4、What will you do if you became famous one day?

如果某一天成为名人,你会做什么?

 

Many people become quite aloof as if they were the only person in the world when they are famous. I don't like that. If I were famous, I would still respect others, for everyone is important and I would try all I can to help those who need help. If I were famous and had enough money,

I would set up a fund for those sick children who can't enjoy their childhood.

很多人成名以后变得很冷漠,就好像他们是这世界上唯一的人一样。我不喜欢那样。如果我是名人,我仍然会尊敬其他人,因为每个人都是重要的,我会尽我所能去帮助那些需要帮助的人。如果我是名人且有足够的钱,我会建立一个基金,帮助那些无法享受他们的童年的生病了的儿童。

 

5、Can you talk about the reports about the private life of famous persons in your country?

你能谈谈关于你们国家的名人们私生活的报道吗?

 

In our country, reports about stars are quite free, but those about influential politicians or industrialists are hardly seen.

在我们国家,明星的报道是很自由的,但是那些关于有权势的政治家或企业家的报道几乎看不到。

 

6、Why do people want to learn about the private life of celebrities?

人们为什么想要知道名人们的私生活?

 

Out of curiosity, I'd say. It also seems to some people that talking about the private life of celebrities means that they are well-informed, which gains respect and friends for them.

我觉得是由于好奇心。并且似乎有些人认为谈论名人们的私生活意味着他们消息很灵通,这能为他们赢得尊重和朋友。

 

7、What is the influence of famous persons on your life?

名人们在你的生活中有什么影响?

 

I don't see much influence. They seem to be far away from my life. My idol is the example of my life. I try my best to be like him or her, not externally of course. Many youngsters try to look like their idols. That's quite stupid to me. I try to learn more, you know, learn about the way they deal with hardships, their optimistic attitudes towards life or their secrets of success.我没觉得有很大影响。他们似乎离我的生活很远。我的偶像是我生活的楷模。我会尽力做得像他或她一样,当然不是外表上的。很多年轻人拼命使自己看起来像他们的偶像一样。这在我看来太愿奢了。我努力从他们身上学到更多东西,你知道,学习他们的应付困难的方式、对生活乐观的态度或者成功的秘诀。
