1、Do you love writing?

你喜欢写作吗?

Honestly speaking, writing is the very last thing I want to do! The only class I had been skipping since I was in my primary school is writing. And I can always successfully doze off when l am in writing lecture.

坦白地说,写作是我最不喜欢的事情!从小学开始我唯一逃的课程就是写作。并且在写作课上,我总是打睴睡。

2、Which way do you prefer, writing in English or Chinese?

你更喜欢用英文还是中文写作呢?

Well, I prefer to write in English. I think it is a good way to practice my writing. You know, l am going abroad pretty soon. So the more I practice writing in English, the better my writing skill will become. Maybe sometimes I have no idea how to get my idea expressed in a real English way.

3、What is the difficulty writing in Chinese?

Although l am a Chinese, there are still some difficulties when it comes to writing in Chinese.Say, how to get ideas expressed in a beautiful way. Anyway, writing is much more difficult than speaking. So that is why there are only very, very few people who can really write!

虽然我是中国人,但中文写作仍会有一些困难。比如,如何用一种好的方式表达观点。不管怎样,写作要比口语更难一些。这就是为什么只有很少、很少的人能写出真正的好文章!

4、What is the difficulty when you write in English?

你用英文写作的困难是什么呢?

The biggest obstacle is the way that English people think is pretty different from the way that our Chinese think, which means sometimes I have ideas what l am going to write, but I have no clue on how to get my idea expressed in English. You know, sometimes it looks cool and sounds all right, but it is just not English! Real English people don't say it! It is nothing more than kind of Chinese English.

最大的障碍就是中国人的思维方式与英国人的非常不同。也就是说,有时我想写些观点,但是不知道用英文应该如何表达。您知道,有时听起来很好,但是,那并不是英文!真正的英国人并不那么说。那只不过是一种中国式英语。
