Like railway transport，road system also plays a vital role.{主题句} On one hand，the construction of roads requires less capital outlay than that of railways{修建公路费用比铁路少}，and the cost of the transportation of goods is less over a short distance in road transport{公路短途运输费用更少} on the grounds that it saves a lot on packing expenditure. On the other hand，road transport is the most flexible and convenient way of transporting goods even if to the interior parts of the world{灵活和便利}，which means that its route and timing can be adjusted to suit the individual requirements and to provide door-to-door service{路线/时间随时更改}.
