Many studies claim that computers distract people, make them lazy thinkers and even lower their work efficiency.

 

Is technology making people lazy?

 

Along with the unceasing progress of the technology,there are an increasing number of people who gradually become lazy thinkers, reasons for which are as follows.

 

For one thing, as many students have claimed, computers distinctly make people mentally lazy. For example,university students are currently encouraged to study and discuss questions on their laptops but the over-reliance of this tool leads to their unwillingness to think themselves.Gradually, online search engines become what they make full use of to figure everything out. For another, modern sci-tech products distract people and lower their study and work efficiency, like smartphone. It is now effortless for employees to entertain themselves at work with their mobile devices, which at the same time, makes them difficult to concentrate on stuff that they have a duty to do.

 

All in all, I firmly agree that technology is making people lazy and weakening the skills of independent study and work.Thus, every one of us must make efforts to get rid of its negative influences to keep our mind active and energetic.

 

科技会让人变懒吗?

 

随着科技的不断进步,越来越多的人逐渐变得懒于思考,原因如下。

 

一方面,正如许多学生所说,电脑很明显让人在精神上变得懒情。例如,现在大学生被鼓励在笔记本电脑上学习和讨论问题,但过度地依赖这一工具导致他们不愿意自主思考。在线搜索引擎逐渐成了他们充分利用来解决一切问题的工具。另一方面,现代科技产品,比如智能手机,分散了人们的注意力,降低了他们学习和工作的效率。员工在工作的时候可以毫不费力地使用电子设备休闲娱乐,与此同时,他们就很难专注于自己该做的事情。

 

总之,我坚信科技会让人变懒,并削弱人们独立学习和工作的能力。因此,我们每个人都必须努力摆脱它带给我们的负面影响,保持头脑活跃,精力充沛。
