1、What kind of transport do you like? Why? What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?
I like to take train if I go to another city. Now in China, the service of the railway is much better than before, and the price is more economic than airplane. Also, it is faster than coach. We can enjoy the outside scenery while the train is moving. Just it is not as flexible as private car, which we can park at any attractive place. The train doesn't pull up until it achieves the station.
2、What is the most popular transport in China?
I think that would be bus, which I think is a natural result of ever-increasing Chinese people's living standards and ever-growing Chinese economy. You know gone forever are those days when we Chinese were confined to make our way on foot or by bikes, here comes the time when we Chinese are offered millions of options: car, bus, underground, train, private car, plane... but it really depends. It depends on which city we are talking about here. If we are talking about big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, taxi or maybe private car is gonna be the most popular transport; but when we are talking about small cities, bike might turn out to be the most popular transport.
3、What is your favorite transport? Why?
Generally speaking, my favorite one is taxi. Anytime, anywhere, all it takes is just one hand-waving. And you will never be bothered to be jammed into any teeny, tiny compartment with all the guys jammed like caviar. But it really depends. It depends on where l am going. Say, there is no way for me to make my way from Beijing to London by taxi! It also depends on how much money I got as well. Can you imagine how I can bear with the meter running for a long, long time when l am short on money?
4、When are the vehicles most crowded?
That would definitely be the rush hour. Say, from seven to nine in the morning and from five to seven in the evening. The traffic jam is absolutely bloody murder everywhere when it comes to rush hour. It can be seen by millions of vehicles being screwed up everywhere.
5、What are advantages and disadvantages of the bus?
Bus is punctual, cheap and convenient. But it is not punctual any more when it comes to rush hour. The traffic jam caused by millions of cars in rush hour can totally ruin its reputation.
6、How to improve the traffic in cities?
Speaking of traffic, you know as the saying goes: "Roma wasn't built on one day." I think this is not like something can be improved in couple of days and by couple of guys. So l think it is the high time that both government and individual should do something. From government perspective, a series of systematic and reasonable regulations and rules should be carried out based on currently unsatisfactory situation. As far as individual is concerned, I think I will strictly obey all the relevant regulations and rules so that I can set
a very good example to other citizens.
7、How to improve the traffic in cities?
Well, I think as to those concrete solutions, since it might sound like a world that is too alien to me, maybe we should consult municipal government officers about how to get it done effectively and efficiently! And I am afraid that it is really not much of my field.
