五、业余时间

 

1、What do people usually do in their spare time?

人们在空余时间里通常会做什么呢?

 

It depends. Different people may have different tastes. Generally, the old may like staying at home to read books or feed pets. Young people pursue fashions, so they may go shopping and watch movies at cinema. The kids just like playing games with others. And amusement park is their favorite place in free time.

这要视情况而定。不同人有不同选择。大体上说,老年人喜欢待在家里看看书、喂喂宠物。年轻人追求时尚,所以他们会去购物或去电影院看电影。小孩子只喜欢和别人玩游戏。娱乐公园是在休闲时间他们最喜欢去的地方。

 

2、What do you do then?

那你会干什么呢?

 

Normally, I prefer to read books. I just finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.通常,我喜欢看书。我刚看完《哈利波特与凤風令》。

 

3、Do you think spare time is important to you? Why?

你认为空余时间对你来说重要吗?为什么?

 

It's not only important but also necessary. Since I'm very busy with my work, I need to relax in my spare time. Moreover, I need more spare time to share with my family.

它不但重要而且必要。因为我工作非常忙,我需要在空余时间放松一下。此外,我需要更多的空余时间与我的家人共处。

 

4、What do you do in your spare time?

你业余时间都做些什么?

 

A lot of things to do in my free time, like reading some detective novels, surfing the net,playing the video games, and even going shopping with my friends or helping my mum do some housework. Anyway, I try to take it easy when I was not busy around.

我在业余时间会做很多事情,比如说读一些侦探小说、上网、玩电子游戏,有的时候和朋友去购物,或者帮助妈妈做一些家务事。总之,我总是在不忙碌的时候尽量放松自己。

 

5、What do you usually do on weekends?(Do you think weekends are very important for you?)你在周末通常做什么?“(你认为周末很重要吗?)

 

Firstly, I get up late until 9 o'clock on Saturday because during the weekdays I'm very busy,and then go out with my friends or go to gym. After that watch TV or read in the evening. On Sunday, I just stay at home, doing something enjoyable like surfing the net studying.

首先,由于我平时非常忙,所以在周六时,通常到9点钟才起床,然后和朋友们出去玩或者去健身,到了晚上要么看电视,要么读书。在周日,我只是待在家里,做一些喜欢的事情,比如说上网或学习。

 

6、Is spare time important to you? What do you do in your spare time?

业余时间对你很重要吗?你业余时间都做什么?

 

Of course it's important. Spare time is the only time for me to relax and enjoy life. I do physical exercise every morning and evening. I'm also keen on listening to music. Sometimes I go out with friends to window shop or just have a get-together with them.

当然很重要。业余时间是我唯一可以放松和享受生活的时候。我每天早晚会体育锻炼。我也喜爱听音乐。有时我跟朋友出去连街或者跟他们聚聚会。

 

7、How do you balance your work and your spare time?

你如何平衡工作和业余时间呢?

 

l enjoy my work, but I never think of it in my spare time. l enrich myself and have a good time so that I can work better. So l always manage to find time for relaxation even when I'm busy.我享受我的工作,但我从来不在业余时间里去考虑它。我丰富自己还有尽兴地玩乐,这样我才能更好地工作。因此我总是设法找时间去放松,即使是在我很忙的时候。

 

8、What are the popular ways to relax nowadays?

时下流行的放松方式是什么?

 

Outdoor exercise is gaining great popularity nowadays. Now Chinese people, especially the young, have enhanced their consciousness of physical fitness. An increasing number of Chinese young people have become regular physical exercisers, and in the long run,they will compose the major population of those taking part in physical exercise.

户外运动时下流行起来了。现在的中国人,特别是年轻人,提高了身体健康的意识。越来越多的中国年轻人成为了有规律的锻炼者,最终他们会构成参加体育锻炼的主要人群。
