People have a choice of their living place，for example，some like to live in the country，and others prefer to live in a big city.

What is your choice—to live in the country or in a city？

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

首先陈述了居住在城市的利弊—居住在城市的利：交通的便利、休闲娱乐、受教育的机会和工作机会多；弊：污染问题和成本过高。

Where would you like to live—in the countryside or in a large city？（首段：文章中心论点）

Many individuals appreciate the convenience of the city and I agree with them（论点一）. Firstly，cars，buses and subways in the city（主语） can take（take sb. to +地方—带某人去某地方[to 是介词后接名词，如果后接的是副词to就省略去]） you wherever（地方：无论任何地方） you want to go.（论据一[wherever you want to go—“你想去的地方”，名词性从句可做主语也可做宾语，但是在这做地点状语,名词性从句：what they said，whether they understand the animals]） Secondly，a great number of restaurants provide you with delicious and timesaving food. （论据二） Thirdly，for leisure time entertainment，folks have a choice of going to a cinema，a theatre，watching sports games and visiting museums and so on.（论据三） Finally，the fact that famous universities and modern factories are concentrated in a big city(定语从句来修饰the fact) means（谓语） that（that+从句） people have better education and more employment opportunities. （论据四） ---居住在城市的有点。However，fumes of cars and industrial wastes pollute the atmosphere. Moreover（与前句并列），overpopulation makes accommodation so difficult that（so…+adj.that…+句子：如此……以致……）the cost of living is very high.（论点二）---居住在城市的缺点。

Everyone can make a judgment in a particular way and have his/her own choice accordingly. I spent my childhood in a little and quiet village and that（并且） was really a very wonderful experience. So in my own opinion，to live in the countryside is my dream，but perhaps in real life I have to study and work in a modern city. However，if I have to choose one place to live in，I would like to live in a small town，which combines the advantages of both the countryside and the city.（非限定性定语从句）
