In this set of materials, the listening passage discusses how to get rid of the poverty, which gives further details of the demanding such as clean water，safe shelter，adequate nutrition，health care and education and supports  the reading passage that people face the poverty，spliting into extreme poverty，moderate poverty and relative poverty.

Above all, it is believed that the world's greatest challenge is ridding the developing countries of poverty.First and foremost, the listening passage tells us that drinking water and safe shelter should be solved by governments，which supports the degree of the  poverty in the reading passage.In the second place, it also illustrates that those who suffer from the poverty are provided adequate nutrition，health care and education in the listening passage so that the definition of the poverty in  the reading passage can be solved.As a result，it can makes the developing countries prosperous to get rid of the poverty.
